I recall that on lulz.net, someone posted in a thread a photograph they had of some original Ozy and Millie comic strip artwork. They remarked on how every time they now looked at the strip they were reminded now of his shaving fetish and people did say that DC Simpson had tarnished his/her "legacy" thereby.

Basically, the ugliness (or lack thereof) of a furry dude, when applied to SRS, is less than or equal to the ugliness he will have as a chick. If lucky, he won't get any uglier, but nothing involving scapels, hormones and asshair plucking can make a fugly guy any less fugly when a chick. Even if they are different values, there is only a sliding scale to go down with there.

In that respect, David wasn't too bad looking of a guy, but damned if he isn't a fair share uglier as a chick.

Because he doesn't have a real job. Functioning in society is just too scary for him to function in, so he makes his roommates (his slavishly loyal boyfriend and that poor bastard who draws Newshounds) go out and earn money to support him while he stays at home all day and draws all this crap. Merchandising makes him feel like ~~a real boy~~ an actual successful cartoonist, and while he made some decent bucks with O&M, I can't imagine anyone but his most feverish sycophants are buying anything for the new comic.

Bahahahahaha. Brilliant. I guess I was right; nobody's buying any raine dog crap, so he needs to drum up some extra cash for black-market hormones.

Of course, it doesn't help that he's gone fucking loco, or that the cat's out of the bag re: shaving fetish (and using O&M to satisfy that fetish). He may get back a few fans by starting O&M back up, but I highly doubt any 'comic-book style stories' will materialize. Just more of the same old bland slop - precocious youngsters acting as mary-sues spouting the author's political diatribes.

Also, didn't the two parents in the comic get married before it ended? Woo, step-sibling incest tension ahoy!
