Has he tried to launch himself a Patreon yet?

Or maybe
just maybe
they don't want things like that image Pigeon just reposted in one of the FA threads to come back and bite them in the ass?

Maybe
just perhaps
really going out on a limb here
they don't want to 'commit to' adding a given feature until they've developed it to at least an alpha state and determined for certain that they have the dev talent on hand to see it through to completion and deployment into production?

But, no, that can't possibly be it.  They must be ignoring everyone and everything and Doing It Wrong on purpose. On porpoise!

(or maybe the cock you've been sucking to get your leaks from devchat has been cumming the pus of partiality into your eager, gaping maw, instead of the spooge of enlightenment you think it is?)

I don't have any problems with them looking to the future, it's just there won't -be- a future if they don't put me in charge and do what I say because reasons

The official Vivisector Kickstarter will be launching soon; our goal is to be able to buy enough soothing salve to ease Conan's never-before-seen levels of butthurt.  Please give if you are able.

I'm more concerned that he blames this on "others" and decides to settle the score first.

Didn't he get all his guns taken away already, though?

This would be better if FA staff actually used this hard-hammer approach on actual tracers, but if you TT a work, it takes months before they even bother to look into it, usually deleted by then.

Which more or less confirms that someone on staff had a tantrum about this particular person, hence the instaban.

This would be a great opportunity for staff of certain competing sites to publicly announce they are totally okay with these kind of works.  I'm just sayin'.

It doesn't count as being thoughtful and considering alternatives if you have no idea what those alternatives are.

Wait, wait, holy shit did GR just execute a subtle yet effective burn?  Daaaaaamn you got TOLD, ratty.

I'm most surprised with the Weasyl dev, though, because Dragoneer has always been paranoid about that kind of stuff. This leads me to believe that Charmander is probably feeding him insider information.

Actually, he trusts me because I don’t have a Vivisector account.

So much for that, then.

work was beginning on coding custom forum software because it was decided vBulletin was "bad".
To be fair, vBulletin really isn't that great. Just last year approximately 30,000 sites got hacked through a vulnerability including Ubuntu Forums where 1.8 million logins and emails were stolen. I can understand wanting to get away from it.

Oh, haha, yeah that totally absolves them of ignoring feature requests because everyone knows the forums are the most important part of an 'art site'.

PS if vbulletin is so bad why the hell did they go with it in the first place?

...a habit of spending as much as they can on ridiculous stuff and adding sponsor perks, running as close to the red as possible. There was even one year they couldn't even afford to give one of the sponsor perks!

That's... odd. Anyone know why they do that? It has a certain amount of risk for how they're organized. Like, IRS risk. Most cons try to run right on the edge so as to not make enough profit to run afoul of the authorities.... Businesses can have the opposite problem.

Do we know for certain that FAU operates like other cons?  I was under the impression it fell within the FA LLC, at which point they could just shift any 'profit' from the con into operating costs for the site.

Wow, the sycophants must've forgotten to set their alarms this morning if all these ~negative comments~ haven't been flooded out of existence by a torrent of ITS A FREE SITE and so on.

Something really shouldn't be 'ebony' unless it's pitch black like the wood. That would be like calling some very light gray 'ivory'.

But I'm sure after that spat on Twitter that upset a female shopper they're playing it safe for PR complaints.

My suggestion: "Mandingo negro"

"Tuskegee Airman"

Feel-good thread of the year, right here.

The phrase is only used if both what you give and what you will receive in return are beneficial to the other party, and that's still just armchair lawyering.

Well clearly he was givin' her the D, and at least in his mind that was beneficial to the other party ifyouknowwhatimean~
