I don't have any problems with them looking to the future, it's just there won't -be- a future if they don't put me in charge and do what I say because reasons
I'm more concerned that he blames this on "others" and decides to settle the score first.
This would be better if FA staff actually used this hard-hammer approach on actual tracers, but if you TT a work, it takes months before they even bother to look into it, usually deleted by then.
It doesn't count as being thoughtful and considering alternatives if you have no idea what those alternatives are.
I'm most surprised with the Weasyl dev, though, because Dragoneer has always been paranoid about that kind of stuff. This leads me to believe that Charmander is probably feeding him insider information.

work was beginning on coding custom forum software because it was decided vBulletin was "bad".To be fair, vBulletin really isn't that great. Just last year approximately 30,000 sites got hacked through a vulnerability including Ubuntu Forums where 1.8 million logins and emails were stolen. I can understand wanting to get away from it.

That's... odd. Anyone know why they do that? It has a certain amount of risk for how they're organized. Like, IRS risk. Most cons try to run right on the edge so as to not make enough profit to run afoul of the authorities.... Businesses can have the opposite problem.
Something really shouldn't be 'ebony' unless it's pitch black like the wood. That would be like calling some very light gray 'ivory'.
But I'm sure after that spat on Twitter that upset a female shopper they're playing it safe for PR complaints.

The phrase is only used if both what you give and what you will receive in return are beneficial to the other party, and that's still just armchair lawyering.
