    So it has come to the attention of a bunch of nerds that UNICEF is unsatisfied with Japan's efforts to combat child pornography. Apparently Japan is one of the few civilized countries in which it is not technically illegal to posess child pornography. This is probably going to be fixed sometime soon. All would be ordinarily be very well and good, but then someone had to go and add this tidbit in:

   

...But the Japan branch of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) urged Tokyo to beef up its laws by banning child pornography in manga comics, animated films and computer games as well as individual possession.

    Nice and vague, there. I'm sure cartoon pornography enthusiasts the world over will be in a tizzy over that one.

I think it can only do good for Japan's incredibly high child rape rate compared to other civilized nations, but yeah, US fanboy fuck pedos are going to have a cow. The Japanese themselves probably won't care as much, once you get them to understand this entails more than just putting a tiny black bar over the glans of the minor.

Perhaps next the could tackle the child sex trade in SE Asia? It would be nice to see someone step up to the plate with that.
