Do tell? This sounds like it could be interesting to have documented someplace.
I've mentioned it on another thread on here, I think. It's standard low-rent furry drama, but written with that particular Jim Groat style.
Toast, in a previous incarnation, apparently promised Groat to fix a decrepit car of his. Bad idea, of course. But Toast is a flake and he was like a seven hour drive from the guy, so it just kept not happening. And then the city bothered Groat about the thing.
MFF comes around. All parties are present, and I was informed through a friend there might be Trouble, and sure enough, there was. Toast got cornered in the dealer's room by the very upset Jimbo, who proceeded to push him up against the wall and berate him about his broken parking brake. He wasn't extremely forceful, but it was clearly beyond 'acceptable con behavior'. I saw about three con staff/security people standing around just kind of.... looking at the situation. My theory has always been that nobody stepped in because everyone knows Groat's packing and unstable, even back then.
