Horror. He is a cat. He is also (one of) the lead administrator(s) of the popular live-streaming service, Twitch.tv, home to many well-known dregs of free and working time, such as speedrunning competitions, the Video Game Wrestling Federation, and countless screams for attention that are never viewed.
As a lead admin, Horror decided he would add a emoticon of his boyfriend, [FILL IN THIS BLANK], of which Twitch users became curious, given the difficulty of adding a global emote that all of Twitch can use.
And then, these words appeared.
Too far for a furry in power?
Far too inexcusable to let go unpunished.He was banned. Streams began to take notice, being that Mr. Bilgewater is known for his endless streaming of his NES games. Protest streams began to shoot up. (The numbers are still out.)
One by one, the Horrowshow took its toll as nerd after nerd was banned in nepotistic rage. Furious to lose their only source of revenue, the nerds-in-exile have made an attempt to complain about the situation on Reddit, but have been unsuccessful to date, being that Horror has contacted the gaming-related subreddits to quash any mention of the situation.
Yours truly, noticing a strange lack of laughter and tears throughout the imitation cheese-stained carpets of Reddit, decided to post a thread. It lasted all of five minutes. From what was stated on Twitter (CITATIONS NEEDED), a number of banned speedrunners are well-known participants in Awesome Games Done Quick, jeopardizing a highly-popular stream that Twitch has hosted for some time.
As of this time, the Twitch administration staff stands by Horror's decisions and have said little of the pendantics that have transpired.
