Since this is mostly about Dragoneer, the manchild, and not Dragoneer, the manchild that owns FA, I'm posting it here.

Taking advantage of his position as con chair, Dragoneer got up in front of everyone at the closing ceremonies of FA: United and proposed to Sciggles. He then got pretty drunk and tweeted things that he deleted shortly after.

The best part of that tweet was that it was a South Park reference. Which really speaks volumes about Piche's sense of humor.

That reference was probably lost on most normal people, and better yet Sean probably has no idea.

As noted in IRC earlier, I'm going to go ahead and posit my theory:

-Piche accidentally knocked up Sciggles (or at least she may have told him this)
-Sciggles threatened to leak this information to FA/the Internet/Piche's parents (hence her 'special treatment' as of late)
-Piche, having absolutely no ability to handle such information, flipped the fuck out and decided to do whatever Sciggles demanded
-The proposal was the ultimate 'blackmail payoff' to keep Sciggles quiet.

I'm predicting an announcement of a baby on the way shortly (with firm denials that conception occurred -before- the proposal). I'm also calling it now that, should they actually go through with the marriage, within 30-60 days Sciggles will claim 'miscarriage' (though there will be no real proof to be found), and/or get herself knocked up for real (and hope Piche forgets when 9 months is up).

I'm not really buying the whole "sciggles got knocked up and is threatening Neer with the information" angle, because really how is that so scandalous. This is 2011, right, not 1950?

Yes but we're talking about people who are completely irrational and illogical in everything they do.

In addition, it's more or less common knowledge that Piche's parents are the only reason he can continue to afford to live the way he does while still hemorrhaging hundreds of dollars a month to keep FA online; who's to say what would happen if they found out he got some random girl pregnant? Could very well be the final straw. They might expect him to *gasp* man up and take responsibility and stop wasting all his money on a porn site.

Or maybe it's just the only way he could think of to scare up more money for FA itself. "In lieu of wedding gifts please just send cash _{so I can buy another server}"

We've seen some discussion over who's taking advantage of who. Maybe Piche abused his convention chair position and forced her decision by proposing in the spotlight of their peers, or maybe Sciggles used her vagina power to force Piche to do it. These discussions miss the point: they are both horrible people, who will make each other unhappy for months to come. He's proven unable to keep his professional life at FA separate from her, after Witchiegate and the short short ban. She's proven unable to keep her hands out of FA's business, from then to her backseat convention staffing. Nobody is capable of enforcing standards of professionalism on either.

We have nowhere to go but up!

My favorite comment on Lulz as of about 24 hours ago was that he would cheat no more than 3 days after the ceremony, and it would be with a man.

I never really bought the "all furries are jailhouse gay" thing, but if there's a poster child for "desperate-sexual", it's Sean Piche.

First the TV, now this? Normally I say that it's not a big deal if people ask for donations, but this is pretty much using your leverage as head site admin to leech money off a base of people you routinely neglect.

The wedding is apparently going to cost $15,000. Outdoors with 50 people.
