Why does FA cost so much to run? Look what I found!

I was searching through my archives for a screencap of something Chase said (Apparently I don't have it like I thought) and ran across this.

Dragoneer twittered this at some point, but I never really read it and saved it "just in case". So apparently they have a full rack for their 10 servers. Remember, 4 of these are unused at the moment, and prior to receiving them FA did just fine in a cabinet 1/4th the size.

It must be nice to be able to waste money other people give you.

When I see a porn drawing go for four figures plus on FurBid, it reminds me that most furries would fall under that "not everyone" category.

Yeah the furbid auctions are pretty depressing. I saw a sketchbook go for $5,000 recently. I dunno; it must be nice to even have $5,000, let alone be able to spend it on porn.

@FurAffinityPR @Dragoneer Just my 2 cents, but if FA rented only 15U, then Dragoneer wouldn't be in such a financial bind all the time.

@kusanagisama Renting partial space becomes difficult because 24/7 free access to the rack is not usually gauranteed. I looked.

@Dragoneer @Furaffinitypr @kusanagisama InfoRelay gives you 24/7 free access to all their rack sizes, that is BS.

For all of our 12 data centers nationally, we do allow unescorted access to client cabinets. If you are a shared colocation client, we would not provide access as it could be detrimental to other clients that are also in the shared cabinet space.
