Fursuit Generation Loss

Liam Haas and Ari Fox of Luskwood Creatures have opened commissions on Second Life-based fursuits.  For $1500 you can have a suit of your SL avatar or some other rendition of a furry character in time for FC2007.  No finer copy of a copy of a copy of a fantasy construct available.

    So do they just take Michelin Man costumes and hack away at them? Because I imagine that that is pretty much how anything in SECOND LIFE gets made, and it shows.

No they start with geometric shapes covered in faux-fur and glue them together until they resemble something that is almost but not quite entirely unlike an animal-headed person.

Seriously, Luskwood's avs are the absolute shittiest I've ever seen.  I have no idea how they manage to get people to pay upwards of 1200L$ for them oh right, furries.

as a relatively newbish furry. what would you guys recommend as far as fursuit companies? mixed candy http://www.mixedcandy.com/ seems to make some good ones and one fur all http://www.onefurall.com seems really good at the style im interested in. (only slightly toonish at best)

hehe, i just carried over my sig from other forums. I changed it to that because the quotes of Nietzsche wherent going over well. As far as "fucked in the head" goes, i know it well. ex-cult members know fucked up, trust me on this. Furry-dom is more "normal" than most other places/groups ive seen. The only problem ive seen consistently (aside from alot of people that dont know how to handel ANY drama/conflicts of interest) are expectations of being gay/bi. though at this point its just amusing to see people try to convince me of how i "must be gay. you just havent met the right guy yet".

Dont like it? beh. unlike other furries ill just tell you to fuck yourself long before i start crying "im just different, accept me!". i didnt come here for acceptance. I already knew i would get more on 7chan/4chan.
