Blast from the (dog)fuckin' past
« on: October 31, 2010, 02:06:27 am »
After reading about Manawolf's younger sister escaping her older sibling's shadow and growing up to become incredibly successful, I decided to try and figure out what happened to Manawolf herself. After all, 8 years is a pretty fucking long time. Since her sister completely turned her life around, I wondered if Manawolf had gone through a similar change.

She has almost no online presence now, or so I thought. Her LJ is abandoned, and she's completely inactive on all furry sites.

On a whim I checked for signs of her in some... less reputable places. Furry has always suffered tremendously from dogfucker infiltration, but as of late it's gotten a lot worse. I wondered if there were any posts from the dogfuckers themselves talking about how she helped to hold the door open for them all those years ago. Searching for her on Zetaforum revealed paydirt:

As you can see, she hasn't changed a bit. Still supporting the dogfuckers, still convinced that giving them aid and comfort was the right thing to do. And the furries are suffering the consequences of her actions to this day.

Never read that before, but it reminds me how worthless philosophy can be much of the time. Logical and rational as philosophy can appear, it's not science. It still grinds down to how thorough your bullshit is.

Note that I love philosophy. But fuck..

It's cool to read Mira's journal and see what a change she has made.  I remember from PoE how she was a few years ago, and it's pretty impressive how much she has matured since then.  Pity to see that her sister hasn't changed a bit.

Why would you write an essay defending your pooch-porking habits and submit it to a college professor?  Sure, it's a unique idea for a college essay, but shouldn't it at least be somewhat apparent why it's a unique idea for a college essay?

It still amazes me that bestialists and pedophiles keep insisting that people need to take a "balanced view" or a "fresh look" at their activities. For all they like to compare themselves to gay people, I'd like to think that most gay rights activists acknowledge that some people are simply going to disagree, no matter how much you talk to them, and that the opposition may even make a valid point or two on occasion. These fine folks believe that the only real reason anyone could ever be opposed to them is that they fundamentally don't understand the issue.

Some people never grow up. Good to see at least her sister is doing better but still, it's crazy that people can try to rationalize that (then again, look at religions/wars/etc)
