An old topic about the history of furres?

Before CYD got taken over by vivisector, there was this topic about the history of the fandom about how porn got more prevalent in the early 90's when some guys scanned furry porn with a primitive scanner onto BBS and basically got the whole thing rolling, eventually leading to 'piracy' of various artists' work on CDs and fraud and other stuff like that. It was pretty interesting and I'm wondering if there's any chance of anyone reposting it here.

Do you recall if it was a full-on article or just a thread in the forums?  I may have that lying around somewhere, if it was an article.

It was a thread on a forum, not a full-on article.

I think that might've been one of my forum posts.  Wasn't about the growth of porn, it was on the origin of copyright paranoia in the fandom and then shifted into a general description the guy's business selling porn CDs and ripping artists off.  Wasn't trainwreck enough for an article.  I can re-write something one of these days.

I remember making some comments in that thread too, It sure was interesting at the time, and it still is too.
