I think that's what the power cord is for. The 'crank' looks more like a swing arm of some sort. Not that I'd ever have experience with such a device, but just taking educated guesses. This is a bit like a real-doll for the gay; you better damn well be able to operate it alone, because you'll never be intimate with another human again if you need one.
