There is a certain person called Eclipser

Now, what they did was to commission a props maker to produce a pair of size 11 silicone paws , based off those of a furry character of his, in order to pitch them to bad-dragon as a possible sex toy they could sell. Apparently they ended up not being interested and so this Eclipser fellow auctioned them off on Furbid for no less than $700:

The person who ended up winning the paws was one "Swiftlyswift" who had no profile information on Furbid, however three of the other bidders have links to their FA accounts on there:

Though it's only really interesting from the perspective of giving you a look at the FA accounts of people who would want these things.

They mention that "Here you will find videos centred around [...] Vore." and they state their occupation is "GHTunes furry mascot" so I imagine they might well be the same person who won the paws. They say that they don't have the attention span for books.

So this is the kind of person who spends $700 on silicone paws: a 19 yr. old bog-standard video-games nerd who doesn't read.

The capacity for furry to be both walmart cheap on one hand with awesome commissions for like $20 bucks and all, then on the other hand come out with bullshit like this will never cease to amaze me. It's like a farmer's market with a Games Workshop in the middle.
