I agree with what you are saying, and perhaps I had not explained myself quite clearly enough.

It all comes down to psychology, and how people where brought up. If you take some one who was never exposed, let's say, to the word "Fuck", or their parents would beam them with a 2x4 if they said "fuck". Then when they hear "Fuck", they are naturally going to over react. The same goes for religion, race, and furries.

If you take someone raised in the "perfect" Christian house hold, put them in front of a camera, and have them report on the real world, you know what is going to happen.

I'm not saying that all media is bad. What I am saying is that the primary weapon of the media is psychology.

Sorry, you can't say "dawn of self destruction" without also saying "kill an infinite number of people".  That's just not funny what you did.

I was not intending humor. I was dead serious.

Ahahaha, what is that even supposed to mean?  Perhaps you should take the advice of your own signature.

I still have no idea what the hell you're rambling on about.  Are you honestly attempting to compare furries to race and religion as an actual point of contention and/or prejudice?

Look, it's simple.  It's all about sensationalism, not psychology.  This isn't 1984, though I doubt you'd have the attention span to have actually read the book.  There's no vast Jew media conspiracy to control the minds of the population, least of all with the news.  Sensational things, much like sex, sell on TV.  I'm reiterating much of what Fatalist said above, here.  The news is about grabbing attention, and the way to do that is to run the most sensational stories.  A hit-and-run trumps a natural death any day.  A police chase will trump that, but will be trumped by say, a natural disaster, or a school shooting.

If you can manage to get that through your thick skull, you'll realize that furries are no different than any other subculture, or quite frankly, any group of people, to the news.  They're going to focus on the guy who camps out in front of a theatre for 3 months to see Star Wars, not the people who showed up a mere hour early.  They're going to focus on the tattooed and pierced hot-topic "goth" with multicolored spiky hair at a concert, not the average-looking couple chatting calmly while waiting for the show.  Likewise, if the media catch wind of a 'furry event', and it's a slow enough news day, they might send someone down to "check out those weirdos."  And if they do, who do you think they're going to focus on?  Joe Q Furry with a conbadge and some concealed smut?  Of course not!  They're going to focus on the idiots wearing collars and leashes and mugging for the camera.

Long story short, you're an idiot, there's no media conspiracy, and if there was, it sure as hell wouldn't be against a piddly little fetish subculture like furry.  If you truly, honestly believe that some sort of "action" needs to be taken, then by all means, go take it!  Go, be free!  You could probably use a little more time outside away from your computer.  Take your media conspiracy theories and crazy Ron Paul bullshit with you.
