Too strong.  Too stereotypical.  Too much... everything that it is.  Enjoy.

Quote
This is the second chance. The last resort. The culmination of self-affliction and just not giving a fuck. This is the kind of boy you regret loving when you leave, and this is the boy who'll break your heart when you break his. This is the kind of kid who can't be broken because he -is- broken. The kind of kid you want to kill but couldn't stand to hear cry. His look of "Back off" doesn't scream "pity" but somehow, he radiates the need for it. His cold, demeaning stare doesn't glare "love me," but his posture, his composure, his body's hard-hearted gospel dictates otherwise. This six-foot, 135 lb bag of useless snow-white (all but saved from the sleeping death) wolf is all but graceful, a graceful 'falling from grace' just a little more him. He teeters on the edge, but with such poise, such composure. He seems a little cold. Perhaps it's the blood stopped cold in his veins, or his vacant, pupil-less eyes, glowing yellow with malice and/or faithlessness. Whatever, he seems to be just fine by himself, tonight

Unusual, this wolf is. Both of his stark-white ears are split down the middle, each forking into two thin, pointed cartilaginous slabs of wolf ear. The bottom sections of both sides are weighed down, a little, by several small, black-colored circles impaling the skin, the right ear bearing a black stud on the top-most section of his ear. Harley's head fur sticks out from his blank, ghostly-white body fur only because of the heart-stopping contrast from the pale, pale white of it to the night-black of his head fur, sheered short on the sides and in the back, but a long fringe sweeping over one side of his face, covering half of his face casually. The position of his bangs reveals his left eye ridge, a ripple in the fur (complete with a black-vinyl-flame-tipped barbell) as his skull warps to allow his eye, unfocusing, unseeing, but always giving one the feeling of being watched, to settle into it. Under his defined cheekbones is a set of five small, coppery squares arranged into a checkered-looking diamond.

In the center of the central diamonds on both sides, there is a small, metal spike that juts out, a piercing from the inside of his cheeks. His lip also carries a stud, but it's black, round, and completely smooth, sticking out just below the rim of his mouth. A little above this, in his nose pad, perched at the end of his slightly-longer-than-normal muzzle, is another tiny, ebon hoop, this one with a little bead on it, resting to the side of his nostril.

Around the wolf's small, chalk-white neck hangs a small locket, broken, scarred, dinged, and rusty. A little looser, hanging around his shoulders, is a blood-red scarf, hanging down past Harley's fingertips, wide and warm. Harlequin wears an open, two-sizes-too-big black hoodie, a bright, white Double X, looking more like a sideways Pound sign (#) emblazoned on the back. On his right upper-sleeve, he wears a black bandana, tied tight. Beneath his jacket, he sports a tight, black-mesh short-sleeved shirt, showing off two small nipple rings. On his back, if one were to look is a tattoo beneath his fur in black, reading, "Lacuna Vitalis." His hands, sticking out, large and awkward, from the cuffs of his jacket with black, fingerless gloves, heavy-duty, water-resistant, and sporting a large, yellow crescent on the backs of the palms, seem to twitch and wring themselves with jitteriness. Or something. Below the hem of his large jacket, over the tucked-in fishnet shirt is a black, pleather belt,
studded with space between each, metal-studs in the shape of pyramids. The buckle is a large, metal '</3.'

His legs are sheathed in a tiny pair of black jeans, pencil-straight all the way down to his ankles. His tail, bushy and stark-white as the rest of him, is capped by a cone of coppery-colored fur. Beneath the cuffs is a pair of Chuck Taylors, each carrying three screws in the top, the canvas almost frayed as it meets the rubber of the soles, the laces fresh and new, but everything else about the shoe, worn, and old-looking. The wolf's one true love.

Also known as Nerose, famous for locking down the OOC chat channels with his "animal soul equals human soul" debates.  Which usually end in his admissions of being a livestock fucking Puerto Rican.

I for one have been avoiding logging in for days at a time just to avoid his mindless, childish drivel, his shit spam in the plaza, his ability to completely destroy any conversation or attempted roleplay.  He just shotgun spams the place with short meaningless poses, unless he finds someone who "values roleplay", then he's typing up ten lines of empty shuffling feet, looking around, yawning, and smiling.  He's one of the people famous for fucking up the RP and yet has this in his information:

> There's no doubt if you've found your way to this lovely bit of information on the MUCK, you've most likely visited at some point that lovely place known as The Yimu Village Plaza. If you've ever found your way to the Plaza, chances are that you've bore witness to the senseless chaos that is standard plaza-going demeanor. I, though I am admittedly one of the worst perpetrators, am adding my voice to speaking out against these actions. Anyone, if they want to, can produce art with the English language. Even if one isn't a native speaker, they can make something that is truly creative if they make the effort. It isn't hard. One of the most amazing things to experience on a muck is a TinyPlot. If you don't even know what that is (and I pity those who don't), look it up. It's a shame that people have let this precious jewel rot. You can be part of the solution and save this decaying treasure of play-infused prose.

Nerose has all the wit of someone who thinks it's cool to refrence /b/ as often and as many times as they can when the opportunity arises.
To sum him up, he has the views and mental capacity for arguing of an eighth grade girl who just watched a video of what happens in a slaughter house.

If anything is worse than his Out-of-Character nonsense, it's his almost as bad In-Character writing.  He relayed part of a backstory to the muck once, now that was some grade-A middle school plot development.

I was apparently spared that!  Have that logged, think you can share the story?  I'd be shocked if it was anything other than the orphan who goes through some terrible ordeal and only pulls through with the strength of their spirit or some speshul magical ability.

Harlequin, Nerose, same player and the most difference between the two characters is that one's a wolf and the other's a cat.  So this still applies.

Quote
Nerose clears his throat, sitting up and staring down at his lap. He begins to talk, his high, rough voice seeming to mimic the apprehensiveness his ears show. "A few years, I dunno, maybe five? I lived in a small town in Illinois. It was tiny, you know? Population a thousand, or something. And I'd lived there my whole life, born, raised. It was a nice place. I remember... I remember this one place just outside the town, there was this forest I used to visit with Todd... Todd was my best friend. Anyways, we'd... we'd go there and just talk... God, I miss those days."
Nerose sighs, clears his throat, and continues, nodding to Selis with a weak smile. "Anyways, me and Todd we're best friends... But... Todd never told me about his home life. He was a pretty quiet guy. But I think his parents beat him... maybe more... He liked to hurt things. Animals, inanimate objects. I think he got beaten for hitting his sister, I dunno. So, anyways, one day this kid, we go to the woods, right? We were in this clearing and we're talking and Todd sounds angry... god, he sounded angry... He... told me to come look at something... We'd fooled around, once or twice, so I figured he was just messing around dirty, right? In a second, he turns around a sinks a syringe of somtehing, I dunno what, into my neck. His parents were both doctors, see? Anyways, I was knocked out cold... When I woke up, I was in this dark room. And My mom and dad and his mom and dad and his sister were there... THeyw ere, you know, all whispering, scared..."
Nerose shakes his head, looking down again... "I was so scared... It was dark and all I could here was our parents whispering and Roxanne... Todd's sister, only about eight, crying. I was so confused. We were all tied up with these ropes... It was about fifteen minutes and this door opened. There was Todd. He turned on this light, this bright, painful bright fluorescent light... kind of like the ones in hospitals, you know? Only worse. There's this bed, this cot, really, and Todd's parents look ashamed. There's no windows, either; it's four bare concrete walls and a sort of metal bulkhead door. He sounds so angry... He's like yelling at his parents about something, something about, 'Sacrificing those who pained him to save the world.' I knew he'd been into like the occult, but he was genuinely weirding me out... there was this circle in the floor drawn in... I thought it was dark red paint, at the time... and he pulled out this curved knife with carvings all over the handle..."
Nerose sighs, his fingers curling up into fists. "And then... he took his little sister... and he looked at me and said, 'Nerose, when The world is cleansed of these sinners, we'll be together... forever...' I couldn't even fucking say anything... And so he has his sister, by the hair, and he tells his parents that they'd better watch or it would only be slower... more painful for them... and he ran his blade through her neck just like that. Let her body slump over on the floor while her blood was spreading out on the floor. His mom screamed. My dad threw up in the corner he was sitting in. And then he laughed. He just fucking laughed at it... the blood, his sister... I felt sick, myself, but I couldn't do anything but watch... And then he pulled his mother up by  her arms and he cut off her clothes, and he sat there, looking at her, for a while... And then he just scowled and shoved the knife into her chest and worked in downwards... He cut through ribs, I know, and he reached in the wound and..."
Nerose sways in his bench, dizzy at the memory... "He... he pulled out her heart.... and doused in this gasoline he had... and lit it on fire..."
At this point I complained to the staff about excessive violence in the plaza.
Nerose smiles at Lyran, sadly, a little. He shakes his head... "A-anyway... for the sake of the more faint of heart, let's just say he did some freaky shit to his 'rents... mine... and... by the end of it, I was the only one still alive, besides him. He looked around, shaking like a leaf, I remember... and... and he took the bodies away, talking to himself about how this wasn't supposed to be what happened, and that -they- had lied to him... I don't know who he was talking about, but he... he was laughing the whole time, just sort of angry, laughing, and shivering... And he looked at me and he said, 'I'm sorry I screwed it up... Maybe next time?' And then... he just leaves me... and it... it reeks in there... Blood and shit... the 'smell of death.' I gagged more than a few times. And anyways, he closese the door when he leaves, locks it good and tight... And... it takes me about an hour to get the ropes off... thank god for claws, huh? But I do it... and then I try to find the door, and I find it's locked..."
Nerose presses on, hands shaking in their gloves... "It... it was like that for a long time... the blood eventually died... the air... it filtered out some, after a few weeks... There was a tiny crack in one of the walls, a rat hole, pretty active, I knew. I almost starved to death, but there were the rats... About a month in, the light gave out... and it was dark... and I was hungry... and It wasn't fair... I lived off the rats that came close enough to the hole for me to grab... It was four months... Four long, cold months. It was in the dead of winter, too, but it was underground, so I had some insulation." He swallows. "And then, there was -him-. I don't know how long he'd been watching me... I don't even know if he was real. But he told me he could help me... he told me he could get me out of there. I begged him to let me out... I begged him to let me free... and he said that if I gave up a part of me, that he could let me out... he could let me through the door... so I did...
*dried
Nerose Sighs. "Again, I don't even know if he was real... but a few minutes later, I went to the door... and I went right through it... I just slid from one side to the other... There were... there were a lto of strange people on the other side, watching the door... they looked as if they were afraid of me. So I ran past them... It turned out that this place was under Todd's back yard, hidden under a shed... I... I went to my parents' house, but someone else was already living there... So, I went to Todd's house. I was gonna kill him for what he did... it turns out that that night, four months ago, he'd taken his life on the pile of bodies. I learned this from the police as they were questioning me why I'd broken and entered and threatened the family who now lived in Todd's home. It was just... too much for me... I cracked... Eventually, I pulled myself back together... I was in someone's house, I didn't know whose... But she fed me and kept me... and the night I came back to my senses... I left."
Nerose shrugs. "So, eventually, I came here..."
