RIP Snowfox
Tonight has been a sad night on Furnet. At about 11:00pm on April 7, i was informed by a regular of my channel (#wolftracks) that Snowfox was found an hour ago dead. He appeared to have hung himself.

I have known this person for several years: he's even had a crush on me for the longest time.


Now once more information about the scene was revealed, there's been a lot more speculation that his death may have been accidental:
1. All his chat clients were still connected
2. he just recieved over $1500 (canadian) for his tax refunds
3. He was nakid
4. He was doing something "strange" with the rope other than having a simple noose

These factors when added up and using speculation indicates the most likely cause of death is "autoerotic asfictiation" gone bad. For those who don't know what that is, it's an extream form of bondage where you use something like a rope to control a partner's breathing.

Snowfox was a very lonely person and it's very likely he has been practicing this form of bondage on his own and this time he lost conctiousness before he could loosen the knot to breath.

Now if this speculation is found wrong I will edit this post or remove it entirely otherwise i'll leave it as is.

Most people who were to do themselves in with suicide would want to be dressed, and would take the time to shut down their instant message clients, and since he has a livejournal he'd likely have wrote something there. I am in his main groups so if there was something written i'd of had viewing access, and there wasn't anything new pertaining to suicide.

I also dont wanna seem inappropriate.. But it is worth mentioning, I run the breath control chatroom on Furnet, and I'm relatively well known in the furry breath control community. I never encountered Snowfox at all in my chat, or anywhere in the breathfurs community. That would tend to indicate to me that he wasn't really into such things, and that this may be nothing more than a rumour.

Snowfox also owes me for six months of web hosting, and he owes numerous other people thousands of dollars in monies and/or AB/DL gear.

(That's "Adult Baby" and "Diaper Lover" gear I assume).

His roleplay partner promptly changed his profile to include a new rule about killing yourself before the end of a roleplay. Considered very rude, it's right up there with substituting '2' for 'to'.
