So, it's been a while since we've heard from Mikey.  Time to update you on the bullshit he's been up to recently.

Artist Skidd posted this to my site on March 21st:

So a little while back I accepted a few commissions. I got all the slots filled fairly quickly and one person even took two.. a guy called "Stealthy" on FA.
I didn't think anything of it at the time.. but shortly after got a note from a fellow artist warning me of this particular individual stating his name, "Michael Hirtes" and what he does with artists he commissions.. even sent me a link to a few forums including this one, with info regarding him. They mentioned he constantly bugs the artist for progress pictures, continues to change up things within the picture if he is the slightest bit unhappy, and even tries to get refunds, notify paypal of fraud or say he was ripped off?

Anyway, after reading about him, I decided I really didn't want anything to do with him, so I apologized to him and refunded him his $20 he sent via paypal. (which I have transaction details/receipt for and such)

MAN he has thrown such a hissyfit over it. I've already gotten a few shouts on my page ( www.furaffinity.net/user/skidd ) from him.. and an endless count of emails.

The emails consist of:

"I really do not think it was fair for you to kick my commission out and to let other people steal my slots. It wasn't cool at all. I even paid in advance and did everything you had asked of me.

What happened?"

"Thanks for taking my money and then giving my commission slots to someone else. "

and

"Yes, now I *am* mad. I did everything you asked of me and paid up front as keeping with my end of the deal, and not only did you kick out my slots without warning AFTER BEING PAID, you let some others take over my slots.

That was a really cold-hearted bitch move you made, bro. Totally uncalled for."

I mean.. I reserve my right to refuse a commission if I want, and I even apologized to him and explained calmly that I am unwilling to complete his commission. Gave him his money back and.. well see? now I'm just going in circles. XD

Just irks me that people like him are everywhere constantly bugging people, cause I know for certain he is not the only one out there.

The picture was also included in the emails he sent.

A little later in the day, I sent Dragoneer a PM on Twitter about Hirtes' new FA identity; 'Neer promptly rebanned him and warned everyone about Hirtes' bullshittery.  The usual bullshit then occurs - Hirtes whines about it on Lulz, everyone calls him out on his bullshit, LOLs are had by all.

Then Hirtes goes after an innocent party to all of this.



The image above, a pic of my character in a harem outfit, was done by Miranda Leigh during one of her recent livestreams at the request of one of the stream's chatgoers; I screencapped it and posted it to my board.  While several of the chatgoers in the livestream joked about the Hirtes situation, Miranda was pretty much oblivious to the drama.

This prompted a series of e-mails from Butthirtes (as he's come to be known on Lulz) to Miranda, accusing her of personally attacking him - E-Mail 1, E-Mail 2, E-Mail 3 - despite indicating on Lulz that he really didn't give a damn about the image OR Miranda.

The end result of all of Hirtes' bitching on Lulz and my site?  Miranda, Skidd, Miss Mab, and a couple of anonymous artists all went and drew harem-themed pics for free just to shove it in Hirtes' face (including several pics of my own character in harem outfits, complete with elaborate toerings), and Hirtes' tricks and bullshittery have become far more known in the FA community.  And that's not even getting into his increasingly-apparent misogyny - while he had a few bad things to say to Skidd, he actually wished death upon Miranda on my site after reading her recent FA journal about a flood in her area:



Combine that with him once calling for Natasha Kat's head on a pike and the Midori, Chill, and Fluffball situations, and a pattern of utter hatred for female artists (and women in general) seems to emerge.

Mikey's been trying to convince Lulz he doesn't care about any of this at all.  By bitching about this current situation for almost a week.

As you might have guessed, nobody bought it.

As I mentioned in one of the various threads, forums full of anonymous people who hate him are probably the closest things he has to friends. It's why every so often he tries finding somewhere new to ingratiate himself with, until he inevitably pulls some stunt, expects full support, and gets told what a turd he's being, and then it's time to add people to the Archnemesis List.

It's really pretty sad. And would be much moreso if he weren't such a shit. There's plenty of times where he's obviously under stress by what's going on online (usually through his own actions, of course), where he's obviously wanting someone to comfort him and be his buddy. But of course because he is what he is, that usually just degenerates into yet another burned bridge and more acrimony for him.

I wonder where he turns in those times where he doesn't have an outlet, and is desperate to get at least one friendly word out of someone? Eh, that's probably why he's sucking up to Allan so hard as a "fellow victim of teh evul ol' furries". He figures if he can get in with Allan and Allan's whiteknights and remaining few friends, he might have a group that's so rabidly conditioned itself to be supportive and accepting that he'll finally have something like friends.

Oh what an education he will be. I suppose that's theoretically the one service Hirtes might perform... putting a dent in the blind, ridiculous idealism of fresh, naive murrypurries.

Thought I'd share this, as I was reminded of it by someone else a bit earlier, and I think it most aptly demonstrates Hirtes' entire relationship with furries and furry over his lifetime. Behold as he joins an artist's stream, tries to be buddy-buddy with him, gets clingy, dismisses problems much bigger than his own as inconsequential because they didn't happen to him, gets confrontational, and basically in the course of an hour takes an artist from mildly friendly and even sort of standing up for him to kick-banning him and cutting off all contact.
