At least, that's the message Dragoneer seems to want to send to now-former FA user Allan, aka Lupine Assassin.

It all started with this FA journal by Allan:

It should be noted that Allan has a reputation for asking for financial help from other furries, then turning around after furries give him their monies and using said monies to buy a fuckton of commissions (almost all of which can be seen on his FA account), all while doing exactly jack and shit about improving his life situation.  With the pattern seemingly about to start itself all over again, Dragoneer swung the banhammer at Allan and laid out the reasoning behind the ban in a journal of his own:

Under normal circumstances I would never state as to why a user is banned. I believe every user deserves privacy, but from time to time there are exceptions. This is one of them.

As you've no doubt gathered from the title, Allan (Lupine Assassin) has been banned from Fur Affinity. As admins, it is our duty to protect the interests of the users, and we feel that this is in the best interests of the site.

The reason I write this is as a warning: help him, but do so at your own risk.

Allan is what I call a "habitual offender". He seems to continually find himself homeless, kicked out from place to place and put on the street. Compassionate individuals extend their support, help him get back on his feet, try to do the right thing. They get burned, he gets kicked out. Again and again.

When this happens, Allan posts journals requesting people help him get back on his feet, send money, send cash. And when he gets said money he turns around and commissions people. Lots of people. He puts art above finding himself a home, finding himself adequate shelter. His gallery on Fur Affinity contains over 1,300 submissions. The majority of them are commissions, paid for by a person without a job and/or a home for most of the time. That is a huge red flag, and I've watched that flag raised time after time, and had people come to the staff for help.

I won't tell people not to help Allan, but I will tell you to be wary.

The Reason

The Terms of Service wrote:

FA may, at any time and without notice, suspend or terminate a user's membership with the Service and/or remove content without notice. You agree that we are not liable for the loss of data, information or financial loss resulting from termination or suspension.

I won't sit by and watch people get duped again.

So, for once, Dragoneer may have actually done something intelligent and worthwhile for FA's userbase, as well as that dumbshit Allan.  As for Allan...well, if he's dumb enough to keep buying furry art with money that should be going towards keeping his stupid ass alive, I say let the fucker freeze on the street.

Allan evades his ban to tell everyone he's throwing a big pity party and they're all invited.

Almost everyone who commented on the only journal of the evasion account told him to quit trying to make people feel sorry for him and to solve his own problems.  And, as you'd expect, the FA admins quickly rebanned him.

Dragoneer, in his infinite wisdom (read: doing one of the few smart things he's ever done), forwarded me some e-mails from Allan that he tried to use in his defense.

I had a friend help me prepare this letter to you, to check for accuracy and help me say what I need for you to hear because obviously, I did not do well enough defending myself on my own so far. I resigned from my job Friday June 6, 2008, and got an amount of severence pay, which I have tried to not draw from as much as possible.

Kits5786 on FA paid for my plane ticket to move in with Anailaigh and Aurcowolf in Arizona. I have since paid Kits back IN FULL and do not owe him any money. Anailaigh's paypal was used during this time because I did not have an account. She bought me a ticket for much less than what was raised and then she pocketed the difference, as well as keeping other donations that were made to help me during that time before I got my own paypal account.

I was with them for three weeks, maybe a little more, during which time I paid them $500, not counting the donations she pocketed from people trying to help me. ANY talk of me leeching off people I was living with has come only from Anailaigh and Aurcowolf, even though Anailaigh had pocketed donations she'd collected in my name and lied to me about the cost of the plane ticket. They were both jobless at the time, and apparently had expected me to pay their bills with my severence money. When I only paid my fair share of $500, that was when they started accusing me of not paying bills. Because I wasn't paying ALL of THEIR bills.

When I left them, I was with my father for only a few days, and then living with my mother since mid-august. I was helping my mother with half her rent while I was there, as well as food and other needs. When my money ran out, she had no more patience and turned me out. As far as my relationship with my parents is concerned, THAT is something personal and private, and NOT involving this community at all, so I do not believe using that against me in this ban is appropriate.

I then lived in a hotel until my credit cards ran out, and am now in a homeless shelter.

I have been looking for work all this time. I am not the only person who is having trouble finding work due to the economy.

The only point where anyone can accuse me of being a leech is with Anailaigh and Aurcowolf, when Anailaigh pocketed donations SHE gathered in my name and I was lied to about it at the time. They are the only ones who could accuse me of leeching, and they are lying. I paid $500 in the three weeks I was with them, and they were threatening me with eviction the entire time to try and force me to use my severence money to pay off THEIR debt.

According to Yak, you listened to the trolls who flamed me from WTF-FA and lulz.net as evidence of my "reputation." Those people were not involved and do not know anything other than the lies and rumors and hate started by Anailaigh and Aurcowolf. That kind of thing is what those places are BUILT for and I was saddened to hear from yak that the flames of trolls and haters were the "evidence" of my "reputation."

Yes, I have bought commissions while I have been struggling, because it is horribly depressing being in this situation and without SOMETHING to occasionally cheer me up, I would not be able to keep dealing with things. I know now how that LOOKS to people who are not willing to look beyond just the surface, just like people have accused you of using FA donations on personal commissions just because you get a lot of commissions while also asking people for money for FA. Even though it is obvious that is just lies, rumor, and jealousy. But if those people and their lies are going to get me banned from this community, then from this point I will just have to not allow myself to have what is one of the few bits of happiness I get now and then, and simply deal with my problems.

Even if what you heard about me was true, there are too many people who do even worse than the lies said I did, and unless you're going to ban all of them too, then banning me is unfair and wrong. I hope that with hearing the truth of my situation, you can understand why it was a mistake. I don't blame you so much as the people who gave you false information, and even if you don't make a public apology to undo the damage to my reputation your journal caused, I just hope you will at least let me back onto FA so I can try and defend my reputation myself.

So basically, he admits he used his severance pay to buy furry porn (and even if it's not an outright admission in the e-mail, he did admit it on Twitter.)

And after the homeless dumbfuck got permabanned for evading his original ban, he started in on Preyfar again.  Here's most of their exchange:

A)...ban-evade on FA and break the TOS rules. While it was a temp ban, your decision to evade and cause drama netted you a perma-ban. Ban evasion is highly frowned upon. YOU decided to evade. YOU decided to violate site policy. I'm the bad guy because you brok the rules?
B) ...spread lies that other admins claiming I was collaborating with /b/tards and 4channers. Seriously. Not *ONE* admin backed up your story. Not Damaratus, not Yak... NOBODY. Further, why would would I side with people who cause mayhem on my own site? Give me a single reason how it would benefit me? It doesn't. AT ALL.
