The main problems I have are that their diction is too lofty and that they are not being inclusive enough: this is being presented as something that is too formal for something which has little purpose, in all likelihood.
If you think there aren't self-appointed committees IRL which are just as serious-business—if not more so—about equally frivolous topics, then you need to take a look around. And if you think babyfurs are crazy, you should see some of the batshit-insane assclowns who represent groups who are serious-business about things that actually do matter. From time to time, I watch local governmental proceedings on TV, and the stupidity and antics from public speakers can rival anything the Internet can produce.
Furthermore, if they are willing to put in the effort required to include well-behaving babyfurs in order to get those who don't behave well to STFU or otherwise stop being complete morons and dumbfucks, how can it possibly make things worse than they are now? It's not as if they're asking for your cooperation.
Whatever. The odds are against them; they'll probably find a way to screw it up.
