Normally, I like anthrochat. The general level of discourse is intelligent and the administrators keep out of the way.
However, this all breaks down in the suite of channels #furrycoffeeshop (general chat), #fluff (the "adult channel"), #furrycafe (general chat), and #warmpaws ("adult channel"). Generally, they're all populated by drooling adolescents. The reason there's two of each is that the administrator, TempDog, a mid-40s Dutch inflation fetishist with the inability to discern IRC hostmasks (more on this later), got butthurt, gave the channel to the worst person possible, and made the second set.

For 2 hours after anyone is kickbanned, any new nickname is interrogated and most-likely similarly banned under assumption of being a troll. But that's okay, just act like a COMPLETE idiot, since he doesn't know how to /whois. Idling for a few hours and then changing nick and swearing up and down that you know nothing about the previous "trolling" is usually enough to calm him down.
Tip: You can easily get a random person permanently banned from #furrycoffeeshop or #fluff by making up sufficiently-convincing logs where the person of your choice is invite-spamming you to any other channel, complaining about it, then pasting the logs, when asked, to an operatorEvery once in a while, someone from one of these bastions of idiocy into one of the real channels.
