I have to lol at the idea that this is the way to teach _anyone_ financial responsibility. That is- to pay for their rent in an overpriced yuppie-infested real estate market, thus freeing up their salary from a job they're really not qualified for to pay for constant pointless consumption. Something tells me that this isn't a new thing with Piche and his parents, and that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, in a manner of speaking. I understand helping out a fresh-out-of-college or whatever kid with _some_ expenses, though certainly not all of a big one like rent, but Piche is closing in on 30 and at best has a throwaway degree in animation or something and is putting forth a good effort to get fired from a cushy contracting job.
That's not teaching anyone anything. That's subsidizing failure. At least make him live in yer basement, ferchrissakes.
Of course, it's all unverified but it would explain a hell of a lot about how he values money.
