tl;dr -- This rex-beowulf character decides to sell his SUPER YIFFY fox(?) suit without collecting any cash because the buyer "couldn't afford it."  He now has a bounty out for anyone who sees this abomination at Midwest Furfest, offering to sell this thing for $400 bucks or paying the person $200 if they aren't complete faggots.

So he gave the suit away on the condition that the guy had no money.  If the guy makes it to MFF, then he must have money, therefore the contract in Rex's head is rendered void.  This is probably one of the most fantastic examples of furry economic law I have ever seen.

If you can see that suit at MFF, if this suit is anywhere you have the opportunity to see it, then clearly someone needs to be dragged into the street and shot right along with Rex.  Call up CNN, tell them WE ARE NICE PEOPLE BUT THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS.

Rex is somewhat notorious for going absolutley apeshit over nothing. IIRC, he had a huge fight across all known lands in LJ with his boyfriend about breaking up, and all the horrible things he had to endure and whatnot. Then two days later they made up and went back to being lonely together or whatnot.

Oh, but you have to recall all his hardships when factoring in his only source of income. He's trying to HELP WOLVES afterall.



Yeah...

The lovely part though, is that, not only is he basically encouraging ANYONE to steal an item from this guy he basically gifted to him in the first place, but he states an acceptable price for keeping it that's only 40% of what he claimed it was worth. If the creator and reseller is only asking $400 how does he think he has the legal right to claim it's worth $1000? Is there a Kelly Blue Book for shit ugly fursuits?
