I think the Bono joke is kind of funny. To be honest, I thought the world had forgotten about this whole thing.

I'll miss Portal of Evil. That's how I first discovered the magnificent train wreck that was "Better Days".

What the fuck is your problem with me? Did I kill your dog or something?
Everyone on this forum has a problem with you, I suggest you get used to that. :V

Why am I such a source of drama? I hardly even post on this site.

I had a couple of his books back when I used to draw. They were good books, but you really need to have some good training already for them to be of much use. I gave up drawing to dedicate myself to writing full time.

What's the story behind these images? There's no way they're real.

I was wondering why this thread popped up again.  SPAM!

I actually do have news about "Zoo U".  It's a finalist in two high profile TV Writing competitions.

The NextTV Writing and Pitching competition, http://www.nextventertainment.com/writers/  and the Fox Diversity Development Writers Initiative.  The Fox one is a pretty big deal.  If I'm one of the finalists, Fox will option the pilot for one year and put me into a mentoring program.

I should have the results by the end of next week.  I know you all hate me, but wish me luck.

I've been skimming the archive for "My Cage".  I don't think it's that bad, way better than some of the crap out there.  Some really funny strips at the beginning, but it definitely seems to have run out of steam toward the end.

Besides, with the way the newspaper industry is headed all daily comics will soon be relegated to webcomics.

Granted, this probably has very little to do with using anthro characters, a bit more to do with the writing being honestly pretty lacking, and a lot to do with old people complaining loudly whenever the funnies page changes where's my Marmaduke I wanted to read Marmaduke I swear I will cancel my subscription me and the whole nursing home will if you don't bring back Marmaduke god damn you (etc).

I remember when "The Houston Chronicle" stopped printing "Gasoline Alley". which I'm convinced no one under 90 still reads.  You'd have thought the world had come to an end the way some old farts complained.

Who knew E621 could be so awesome!  Shame the pic is gone, I would have liked to see it.

I'm not a believer in conspiracy theories.  Oswald killed Kennedy, we landed on the moon, there is no face on Mars and 9/11 was carried out by a bunch of pissed of Muslims.

But with Elwood, she/he/whatever has been lying to so many people, for so many years about so many things that there is simply no believing anything she/he/whatever says.  There is just no credibility left.

I don't know.  It's kind of a "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" situation.  Is there anyway you can believe a known liar, even when they tell the truth?

I just saw a couple of his 'rants' on YouTube.  Wow!  People find this guy funny?  He's like living a Internet comment section for a Libertarian Website, rambling about how stupid people are stupid and should be killed and how the government is evil.  There's no style, no panache.

I don't live too far from West Hollywood, maybe I'll check him out to see how he does.  I've never listened to any of his stuff, I only know about him, through other people bitching about him.

If he's trying to do a Bill Hicks thing, he's going to have a really hard time.  It's tough to do that type of humor and not come across as just a whiny asshole.  Hicks and George Carlin could do it, and Dennis Leary and Lewis Black can do it because if you peel back the layers of cynicism they are comedians at heart and not just ranting douche bags.

The best thing about 2's post advertising his show?  It's ten paragraphs before he tells you the date of his appearance!

I'd like to see it on TV too, it's a million-to-one shot, but the contest is encouraging.  I'd better stop, ProvincialTwit doesn't like me talking about the show for some reason.

Touching my self at night is what killed all the dinosaurs, I don't know why the modify button isn't showing up.

And that's not just a Brian tattoo, that's my Brian tattoo.

And that "God awful" TV show recently made the quarter finals in a major TV writing and pitching competition.

http://www.nextventertainment.com/

They haven't updated their site yet, but I got an email from the head judge congratulating me on making the quarter finals.  I'll find out if I advanced to the semi's in a few weeks.  And before you make a joke about the lack of competition, there were over 700 entries.

But, seriously, if anyone knows why the "Modify" doesn't come up on my posts, I'd really like to know.

There is no "Modify"button.  The only thing in the upper right hand corner of my posts is the "quote" button.

I don't think there are just vague similarities.  From what I see the art has a lot in common, on multiple levels.

I think we're just going to have to agree to disagree on this one.
