Is there any evidence that FA staff contacted paypal? I haven't seen any at the moment.

Even as I posted this thread, the thread on the furnation forums about the paypal account was locked, and posts asking for evidence that FA staff had reported furnation, and that were critical of furnation were all deleted. It seems that the moderator Skye Menjou locked the topic and deleted all the posts asking for evidence, because they are "all based on flaming and a matter the senate has not looked into yet".

Two threads swiftly popped up to criticize the ham-handedness and were just as swiftly locked:

I still can't believe FurNation is still alive.

They need to just let the site die and follow GeoCities into the Web Graveyard.

EDIT: And it appears that with all the scrutiny behind Nexxus' accusations of FA taking out FurNation's PayPal, Nexxus may have decided to pack it in.  The FurNation frontpage currently reads "FurNation is gone.  So long, and thanks for all the carrots." and no other pages are reachable.

Amazingly, there is no such evidence, but hilarious results nonetheless.

Jesus. At least my rants against MURR INFINITY are backed in fact and reality. It's true that FA's site sucks and nobody gives a damn about it, but last I checked nobody gave a shit about furnation either. Is this really what they're reduced to?

Gotta echo Freehaven here; I thought FN had shut their doors quite some time ago.  Nexxus has made so much noise/so many threats about shutting it down over the past few years; having fallen silent I just assumed it went under.  Or maybe I'm just thinking of their Secondlife presence?

Either way this is pretty hilarious, and I don't doubt for a second that this is a temporary setback.  That piece of shit site has been resurrected so many times; someone is bound to pony up (c wut i did thar) the dough to keep it online.

Also can't believe that some people actually think FN is 'a good site' in any way, shape, or form.  FA's a piece of shit, but FN was little more than a place for them to show off their logo in as many ways as possible...oh and maybe host some self-made html2.0 furry websites.  And Donny.
